Rita, more power to you. I can remember those days. Sweating bullets and praying hard in the post office lobby before I sent my first proposal off. That was before you could email queries in. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God's speed.

Kimberly, thank you for sharing. It sounds like we've both let doubt and insecurity cripple us ... but I also sense some balance in your thinking when you say that those insecurities can be seen as a blessing. It's taken me a while but I've come to the same realization. We cannot go forward or have any true lasting success without acknowledging and leaning on our Source. It is indeed all about Him, as you say. Thanks again for sharing your heart.

Oh, Linda! I can so relate to your heart here! First of all, thanks for sharing so candidly. You have articulated many of the same feelings I have, both as a writer and as a musician! Even though music is more my "thing", those nagging insecurities have never gone away. Now I'm adding writing to the mix, and I'm having double the insecurities! In a way, I think those insecurities are sort of a blessing in that they keep us humble and dependent upon the Father. At the same time, our confidence should always be in HIM and HIS ability to accomplish His will through our gifts as we yield them to Him. It's all about Him!

Thanks again for sharing your heart! I look forward to reading your books...they are on my list for sure!
